Cup of Coffee

 Everyone enjoys a nice cup of coffee in the morning, and this writer sure does. But it is sometimes difficult to find a coffee shop around either an independent or franchise-owned store. Many exist, but my favorite is Starbucks, and more specifically, the one on Hill Rd N in Pickerington, Ohio, near a Kroger and Giant Eagle. The staff know my order by heart and always ask me how I am doing, and it is always good to hear that from someone. This Starbucks location is minutes away from my job and is quick and convenient. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them and their staff. My usual order is a Venti Salted Caramel Cream Coldbrew. I also substitute the vanilla sweet cream for caramel and request extra caramel drizzle. It is always made the way I like it, and the wait is hardly long, if at all. The atmosphere is excellent, with how quiet it is, and how quick they get my drink out. The food items I have personally ordered have been hot, on time, and always handed to me with a smile. There are times when it could be sort of slow for them, and someone has the time to bring my drink to the table I am sitting at. The music selection chosen based on the time of year adds to the ambiance of the location, and the music is usually the kind I like to listen to and enjoy. I wholeheartedly support this Starbucks location and commend the store manager for her excellent choice in staff.

 So I work in the ABA industry. For those of you who do not know what that means, it stands for Applied Behavioral Analysis. I am a Registered Behavior Technician, and I work with autistic children. I love what I do, and the children are so smart and sweet. But sometimes I feel like the RBTs' work goes unnoticed. A lot of the time, we deal with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) who doesn't really care. They create the programs that we implement, but we may suggest things to the BCBA, and while they say they'll look into it, they won't. Or they just do not care enough to. The company I work for, I really like, but of course, with all jobs, there are the pros and cons. Pro: more work opportunities; Con: Managers don't really listen to what you are saying and want more of a "yes man" instead of an RBT who will do what is necessary to make sure the client is taken care of.

Awe Crap

Awe Crap  By Reade Green  Tracy is a beautiful girl. And I mean she is so beautiful that I can not compare her to anything else in the world, except for maybe my wife, Rachel. Joker: Folie a Deux(The Madness of Two)

 My wife and I decided to go and see the new Joker movie that came out on October 4, 2024, last night. Joker Folie A Deux or as it translates to "madness of two" was not as exciting as the trailers made it seem. We see in the trailer that Harley Quinn is a patient at Arkham Asylum but what you find out later in the movie is the reason why, and it is a little disappointing. The movie was not very well perceived or even received by audiences and critics. Normally when movies like this come out the critics will say it was not done as well as it should have been but fans will rate it higher than what critics say. However, this was an unexpected circumstance where fans and critics agreed. The critic website known as Rotten Tomatoes listed the two scores: Critics rated it 32%, and fans rated it 32%.
