Update

 So it has been a while since I have posted. A little bit of an update on everything. I quit my teaching job and decided to cater full-time, but I am about to enter the catering off-season here soon after December. My beloved wife was able to get me a job with her at Potbelly Sandwich Shop. It's nice. There have been some tragedies in the families. Firstly, my grandmother passed away on August 31st, and a couple days later, Ally's dad got hurt and went into the hospital. He's been recovering, trying to get better ever since. But we have also been gifted with the knowledge that my brother and his wife will be bringing another life to the family and it is a little girl, due February. That is only starting to put more and more pressure on Ally and myself.

It has been difficult these past few months, my mother is also becoming more and more critical of my life. Judging how I do things. I know she wants the best for me, but I don't see her as helping. And I know she has tried to help teach me financial responsibility in the past, of course, I never listened to her and I do hate myself for that. Things are just becoming more and more difficult.

 Things have become more and more difficult in the current job market for someone who has so much to offer with a good degree and for some positions all the necessary requirements. However, things have never been more difficult than to be born in the millennial generation and having to cope with the fact that my generation has fucked up so bad, no one wants to hire my generation if you are under the age of 30. My generation has proved to the world we do not have a hard work ethic. Do not like to be at the job especially if it is a high-paying position. ABA Work

 So I work in the ABA industry. For those of you who do not know what that means, it stands for Applied Behavioral Analysis. I am a Registered Behavior Technician, and I work with autistic children. I love what I do, and the children are so smart and sweet. But sometimes I feel like the RBTs' work goes unnoticed. A lot of the time, we deal with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) who doesn't really care. They create the programs that we implement, but we may suggest things to the BCBA, and while they say they'll look into it, they won't. Or they just do not care enough to. The company I work for, I really like, but of course, with all jobs, there are the pros and cons. Pro: more work opportunities; Con: Managers don't really listen to what you are saying and want more of a "yes man" instead of an RBT who will do what is necessary to make sure the client is taken care of.

The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Review

I went and saw the new Hunger Games Movie which was a prequel movie to the Hunger Games series. The movie was titled "Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" which is based on the novel written by Suzanne Collins and takes place at the 10th annual Hunger Games with a young Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom Blyth, becoming a mentor to the District 12 tribute Lucy Gray Baird whom was played by Rachel Zegler. The games are not as we know them from the series. The tributes are treated like animals and not as they are treated in the other movies. But clearly, they do get better as time goes on. Though I had reservations about seeing it due to the backlash Zegler had received in recent months, it was still a very entertaining movie, giving the audience background on a younger version of President Snow. I do suggest going and seeing The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes now open in theaters as it is thrilling, suspenseful and all around fun for the whole family.
