MARCUS Update

 So an update on my book MARCUS, it has been difficult for traction to really take off and for people to be buying it. Ally and I paid a good chunk of money for seven months of marketing, which by the way has not happened. I was promised all this stuff: promotion on social media(Instagram, Twitter, Facebook), and ads on YouTube. But the only thing I got was a Facebook Page that I have no control over and can't invite people to that only had three posts on it. I was not very happy. The wording for the posts looked and sounded good, but now they want more money from me. More money and they haven't done shit. Ally says they are scamming me, trying to take my money, and yes, I believe she is correct. I was supposed to get an author's website as well. However that has also not happened.

I guess I have to do this on my own. Try and publish my book without the help of Amazon Publishing. I need to do things on my own. Will it take time to get my name out there as a publisher? Yes. Am I willing to do what it takes? Also yes. I am just tired of always scrapping shit together to make ends meet. I should have gone into a trade that was useful like my brother. But I think I could do well as a publisher. Publish my own books and maybe even some articles in a magazine created by me. I'll need help with everything on this, but I know I can do this.

 Things have become more and more difficult in the current job market for someone who has so much to offer with a good degree and for some positions all the necessary requirements. However, things have never been more difficult than to be born in the millennial generation and having to cope with the fact that my generation has fucked up so bad, no one wants to hire my generation if you are under the age of 30. My generation has proved to the world we do not have a hard work ethic. Do not like to be at the job especially if it is a high-paying position. ABA Work

 So I work in the ABA industry. For those of you who do not know what that means, it stands for Applied Behavioral Analysis. I am a Registered Behavior Technician, and I work with autistic children. I love what I do, and the children are so smart and sweet. But sometimes I feel like the RBTs' work goes unnoticed. A lot of the time, we deal with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) who doesn't really care. They create the programs that we implement, but we may suggest things to the BCBA, and while they say they'll look into it, they won't. Or they just do not care enough to. The company I work for, I really like, but of course, with all jobs, there are the pros and cons. Pro: more work opportunities; Con: Managers don't really listen to what you are saying and want more of a "yes man" instead of an RBT who will do what is necessary to make sure the client is taken care of.

The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Review

I went and saw the new Hunger Games Movie which was a prequel movie to the Hunger Games series. The movie was titled "Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" which is based on the novel written by Suzanne Collins and takes place at the 10th annual Hunger Games with a young Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom Blyth, becoming a mentor to the District 12 tribute Lucy Gray Baird whom was played by Rachel Zegler. The games are not as we know them from the series. The tributes are treated like animals and not as they are treated in the other movies. But clearly, they do get better as time goes on. Though I had reservations about seeing it due to the backlash Zegler had received in recent months, it was still a very entertaining movie, giving the audience background on a younger version of President Snow. I do suggest going and seeing The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes now open in theaters as it is thrilling, suspenseful and all around fun for the whole family.
