The Green House

 So after the weekend of Christmas which was really good, some slight upsettings but nothing major, it was all around good. Cut to yesterday December 26th everything at my second job was screwed. When I walked in there was nothing. There was a semi stuck in a ditch behind the store with some of Produce’s supply, and then we supposedly weren’t going to get our salvage shipment until today the 27th. But we were able to get both the stuff from the ditch which I thought was going to be bad but was still good and then got our salvage truck. My wife Ally had to come over and help out while my second shift lead did nothing but help out with getting the pallets off for the other departments. Didn’t see him until Ally and I had to leave at 7:30pm. Yesterday was holiday pay so already time and a half, and then we were over our designated shift time so it was time and a half on top of time and a half.

 Today is December 24th, 2022. My first Christmas Eve with my new wife. We were supposed to go up to her parent's house however with Licking County has been in a Level 3 emergency we didn't go. They canceled it, then decided to have it again, but Ally and I still decided not to go. We will go to Drayton and Brittney's. Then we won't have to deal with her cousin's kids which can't be controlled.

 Hello those of you who have been following, I am so sorry about the distance of time between posts. I didn't even realize I had been away for five months, it's insane because so much has happened since my last post. First, I got a job as a full-time building sub with an elementary school. It was a lot of fun but let me tell you, it was difficult. I hadn't subbed in so long that my anger sometimes got the better of me. I am not proud of it because they were just little kids but sometimes that happens to all of us I suppose. However, I did call off too many times, more than I had with the district I worked in a lot last school year I might add. So I had the feeling in my stomach my position was going to be soon terminated but not banned from the building. I do not blame the principal for her decision and while it is sad, I do agree.
